Randron Sports is a weblog about the arithmetic that sits underneath sports betting and casino games: how a price is written, what a house percentage actually measures, where the conventions came from and why several of them survive long after the reasons for them disappeared.

The entries are explanatory rather than practical. Nothing here recommends a wager, rates an operator or claims an edge; the arithmetic in each entry is worked through in the entry itself so it can be checked rather than taken on trust.
